Dark Days Week 18: Tartines

A pair of weekend lunches: open-faced sandwiches, or tartines. One with the first radishes of the year (not as strongly flavored as I like, but it’s nice to be getting something that’s fresh and isn’t potatoes, onions, or kale!) and the other with a couple of leftover crab legs from Ryan’s birthday dinner. Quick, easy, delicious and pretty lunches. Now to figure out a way to have “leftover” crab on hand more frequently…

Sources for this week’s meals:
Radishes from Full Circle Farm, Carnation, WA
Homemade butter from Fresh Breeze Dairy heavy cream (Lynden, WA)
Washington Dungeness crab (purchased at Metropolitan Market in Tacoma)
Grand Central Bakery sourdough bread
Exceptions: salt, pepper
