Dark Days Week 7: Hashbrowns, Eggs and Toast
January 28, 2011, 12:54 pm

A quick and easy meal this week: Sunday brunch, which we don’t do often enough. Neither of us are big on breakfast, but we both like breakfast foods so breakfast meals make an occasional appearance at dinner (particularly during really busy weeks). It’s quite nice to sit down for Sunday brunch once in a while. We really should do it more often.

Sources for this week’s meal:
Homemade butter from Fresh Breeze Dairy (Lynden, WA) heavy cream
Eggs – Mountain View Farm, Belfair, WA
Red potatoes – Full Circle Farm, Carnation, WA
Homemade bread (whey from butter making, honey and flour from MT by way of my parents, non-local yeast and salt)
Exceptions: Salt and pepper, yeast
